As the President of UHSA, Mary works with clients to assess their operational needs and partners with them to develop a vision for the future.  Since forming UHSA, Mary has guided the UHSA team in performing corporate turnarounds for agencies needing to operate at their full potential, and she has guided the efforts of organizations positioning themselves for sale.  Moreover, Mary has successfully offered a variety of services including everything from environmental redesign to negotiations and mergers to survey readiness preparation and hands on management.

Work History

No stranger to healthcare, Mary has worked in home care since 1980 where she worked in a variety of capacities including as Assistant Director of Finance, Associate Director and as Administrator and Vice President of a large hospital-based and free-standing home care company.  Moreover, she has directed Home Health, Hospice, Private Duty, Infusion Therapy, Transportation, Emergency Response System and Wellness programs by leading and motivating those with whom she works.

Experiences

Prior to joining UHSA, Mary was a pioneer in Home Health and Hospice field force automation.  For this reason she frequently speaks and writes articles on corporate reengineering and the impact that automation has on company culture and processes.  In addition, Mary also helps organizations realize tangible financial and operational improvements as a result of their investment in automation.

Education

Mary holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Psychology.
